Anyone committed to engaging with Development Studies and furthering the objectives of the Association is eligible to become a member. Membership is open to academics, students and practitioners, in and beyond Australia.

The following are our categories of membership with their respective rates

Academic (Salaried)

100 AUD a year / $190 two years

A person employed at a university, research institute or equivalent

Development Professional

100 AUD a year / $190 two years

A person engaged in the development sector

Unsalaried / Low Income

50 AUD every 2 year

A person without salaried employment, or a salary defined as low income (currently AUD 40,000 a year)

Student (Undergrad/Postgrad)

50 AUD every 2 years

Anyone enrolled at undergraduate or postgraduate level at a university, or equivalent

Global South

50 AUD every 2 years
